These 1958 photos show a little of one of the famous nightclubs on Okinawa, Club Gingasha.

The earliest mention I found for Ginbasha was the Sept 1956 issue of This Month on Okinawa. "The Ginbasha, Crossroads of Okinawa Sit in the Ginbasha long enough and you'll see ever American who steps foot on the island."

The Dec 56 issue of TMO mentions a Ginbasha No. 2 opening soon in Makishi.

The first photo is the cover of the Nov. 1957 Supplement issue of TMO and the announcement for the opening of the new Club Ginbasha.
