The above ad appeared in the 1948 Okinawa University High School yearbook "Torii".

R. Neis mentioned in the ad is thought to be the Neis of "Neis Photo" on several of the photos below. Due to the similarity of the writing it is possible that the "Naha Photo" photos are by the same company YN Photo Finishing.

Some of these photos titled "Naha Photo 49" were in an album which included a photo of a GI with the title of the company on the photo that of "Ybanez Photo Finishing" so this may help connect the "Naha Photo" photos to YN Photo Finishing.

You will see photos of Suicide Cliff, Gushikawa (now Uruma City), the Butoku-Den Judo Gym in Naha, Naminoue Shrine, Virgins Pit (Himeyuri monument), Nago, Itoman, Yonabaru, and pre-war photos of Naha harbor, Ryutan pond at Shuri, and the weather station at Naha along with many native villages that have passed into history.
